(I got a little tired of extensive tagging.) That side blog is also where I talk about my writing and spam-reblog art, so very fair play if you stay safely over here, but if you notice a drop in me posting etho art, it is because the etho art has migrated.

The AU Fest check-in is now open, and will remain so until Saturday, 02 July 2022 12:01:00 (in 2 days). This is highly encouraged for all participants.
You will check in by filling out a short Google form.
We just want to confirm that you’ve got started, have an idea and know where you’re going! You’re about 50% of the way through the creation period now, but everyone’s fic process looks different, so as long as you’re comfortable with where you’re at, that’s okay.
If you need to default, this is the time to tell us. Dropping from the exchange after this date (though again, sometimes life happens and your electricty goes down or you break your wrists, to use examples I’ve seen), makes it extremely difficult for us to get a Pinch Hitter in place in time so that your gift recipient still gets something on posting day. Please let us know if you need to drop from the exchange, or if you need any help we can assist with.
In terms of the form, you will not be defaulted or removed from the exchange because of your responses on the Google form! Even if you explicitly tell us on the form “I want to default now”, we will contact you to confirm this. Don’t worry about giving the “wrong” answers.
If you don’t answer the form within the check-in period, we will try to contact you. If you remain unresponsive for a day after the check-in deadline passes, the mods will begin finding a pinch hitter for your assignment. Once we find a pinch hitter, you’ll be defaulted from the assignment and removed from the exchange.
If you still want to participate - for example, if you lost internet and couldn’t reply before a pinch hitter was found - you can notify a mod, and at this stage we’re happy to let you take back the assignment.
If you’re doing the AUfest and not following the blog, there’s a check-in going on now to make sure we know if we need to get pinch hitters on the job!
