an unstoppable force meets an immovable object.
Grian climbs onto the roof of Skizz’s base and tears down the banner of their sworn enemy, Dogwarts.
“Scar,” Grian says, throwing down the blood red cloth. “Do the honors.”
“DON’T!” the panicked voice of Skizz suddenly emerges from behind them. “Don’t do it! If you do, I will see this as an act of aggression.”
Grian looks the man he once considered an ally in the eye and tosses Scar a flint and steel. As Skizz lunges forward towards Scar, Grian notches an arrow.
“Skizz. I wouldn’t want your life to end too early.”
Skizz hesitates for a moment, reconsidering. Grian steps in front of Scar, brandishing his netherite sword to drive home the point.
A second passes. Then another. Finally, Scar’s sheepish voice breaks the standoff.
“…um Grian. So I think I somehow burnt the flint and steel. But not the banner.”
“I know what’s gonna happen here, alright? We’re gonna end up partnering up with them, you’re gonna end up on the altar— I’m gonna be looking you in the eyes and they’re gonna sacrifice you. And I don’t want that, alright?!”

I love that Scott is the only person on the server who has managed to successfully keep his pet Red/Yellow life in line
Grian is contractually obliged to indulge Scar’s antics regardless of any moral, and very verbal, objections
Cleo, though visibly suffering, usually just lets Bdubs do whatever chaotic gremlin plan he’s concocted because she knows once he’s made up his mind, there’s nothing she can do
Martyn, though not contractually, is morally obligated to stick by Ren’s side because good god somebody’s gotta keep an eye out for this poor idiot so he doesn’t get the clothes stolen off his back
But Scott has Jimmy wrapped around his finger. Jimmy will almost immediately come to Scott if he’s gotten in any trouble and Scott can usually diffuse the situation quite quickly. For fucks sake, Jimmy hardly even muttered an “unless…” before Scott looked him dead in the eyes and went “you can’t kill me.” Shut that shit down real quick.
