I wonder if the recent reports of cats carrying and presenting with symptomatic COVID-19 will encourage people to finally take their cats inside, or are we just gonna keep clowning about that forever until songbirds go extinct.
everyone’s talking about “getting coffee with friends someday” and “seeing my pals again” and “making out passionately with my homies for an hour after this is all over”
but the real question is, will we all recognize each other when this done?? Half of y’all are giving yourselves living-room haircuts of ten inches and dying your bangs pink with kool-aid, some other people are working out and going for walks like crazy so who knows how buff they’ll be, other people are crafting it the hell up and even making new clothes for themselves
plus, forget prison tats, give it another week and Quarantine Tattoos are going to be big as hell as people start experimenting with stick and poke
we’re going to meet up again and it’s just going to be
The last time I left my house was 17 days ago and on that day I walked past a man who was sitting in his car with the windows open and as I walked past, someone on his radio said “now sports! sports is, there are no sports”
That was the last day of Massachusetts
Why are people commenting like “this is night vale” or “I can’t tell if this really happened or it’s an apocalyptic vision” like are you all not aware that there’s an unprecedented international disaster happening? What is not normal life in March 2020 about this post
The radio channel I listen to has a guy who does the traffic report every morning and he got so fed up of saying basically “theres no traffic because everyone is at home” that he started getting listeners to message him with the traffic that’s in their home. like “in Steve’s house in Surrey today theres a massive delay between the bedroom and the dining room table that is where Steve is working because the dog is lying in the doorway. the current recommended diversion is via the kitchen for a cup of tea.”
Sharing tweet from NY Gov. Cuomo, “I want to thank @rihanna and the Rihanna Foundation for donating Personal Protective Equipment to New York State.
We’re so appreciative of your help and that of so many others who have stepped up.
“
“Wherever I go…I’m an immigrant. I think people forget that a lot of times. I think they see Rihanna the brand. But I think it’s important for ppl to remember, if you love me, everyone out here is just like me. A million Rihannas out there, getting treated like dirt.” -@rihanna
